Q. What is the lineup of the band ?

A. The band usually perform as a 5-piece group, just as you see in our video - Guitar & Vocals, Keyboards or Lead Guitar, Saxophone, Bass and Drums.

If your budget allows, the band can expand to a 6 or 7-piece group. However, if your budget can’t accommodate the usual 5-piece group, or space simply doesn’t allow it, smaller versions of the band are available as an alternative, an example being the 3-piece ‘rock band’ – Guitar & Vocals, Bass and Drums.

Q. How much do you charge ?

A. Our prices depend on a number of different factors, namely the type of event we will be performing at, how far we will need to travel – the band are based in London and the South East –  how long we will be required to perform and what equipment we will be expected to supply. Please get in touch to receive a quote for your event. Our prices are very competitive with other bands. Please note if you require the band to perform after midnight, or will want to use the band’s equipment after midnight, then this will affect our fee.

Q. How far will you travel ?

A. Quite simply, the band will travel anywhere – in January 2010 we spent a week in the mountains in Switzerland! However, the band are based in London and the South East, so please bare in mind our prices will often depend on how far we’ll have to travel from this area.

Q. How long do you usually play for ?

A. The band typically performs two 45-60 minute sets, with a short interval. Depending on requirements, this can be adapted to three 40 minute sets, though we generally find two sets works best.

Q. What do you usually wear on stage ?

A. The band usually wear all black, as you see in our video.

Q. Can you supply PA and lights?

A. Yes, we can supply PA and lights, though some venues will have their own PA and lighting which may be more practical to use.

In addition, we can also supply interval / background music, played on an iPod, which we will play before our first set and in any following interval breaks. However, if you plan to party until the early hours, we would advise you to hire a DJ (to perform after the band), as we will only supply music after our final set for as long as it takes us to dismantle our equipment, with no compromise.

Q. How long does it take you to set up ?

A. If we need to supply PA and lights, we would require at least 1 hour to set up and soundcheck. If PA and lights are provided, we will be able to set in a shorter space of time. Please be aware that if the band is required to set up far in advance of our performance then this may affect our fee.

Q. How much space do you need to perform ?

A. We’d ideally need around 15 square metres, 5m x 3m (16′ x 10′). However, should space be an issue, please get in touch as we can more than likely adjust (as we have done many times in the past). Don’t forget that smaller versions of the band are available as an alternative option to the usual 5-piece.

Q. Do you have any special power requirements (for performing outside) ?

A. If performing in an area such as an outside marquee, we will require a minimum of 6 separate 13 Amp power sockets. Should you require any more advanced technical information please let us know.

Q. Will you perform our first dance / Song X ?

A. If you would like us to perform your first dance, please let us know at least 28 days before the date of your wedding. With regards to requests, if you have a couple of specific songs you would like to hear, again please let us know 28 days in advance of your event date. The band will do their best to adhere to all requests, but cannot guarantee all will be able to be performed.

Q. Will you require food ?

A. Yes, we will require food for however many are performing, plus soft drinks / water. A hot meal is preferable.

Q. Will you require a deposit, and will you issue a contract for your performance ?

A. Upon confirmation of our performance we will issue you with our standard contract, which will need to be signed and returned by you to confirm the booking. A small deposit will be due on receipt of contract, payable by cheque or BACS transfer, with the balance due, upon our arrival, on the date of performance.

Q. What happens if one of the band is ill on the day ?

A. If someone is sick then first and foremost we’d get a replacement. If that wasn’t possible (which would be very unlikely) then we would perform as a smaller group and negotiate a reduced fee with you.

Q. Can we come and see you play ?

A. Very occasionally the band host ‘showcase’ events for people to come and see them perform. These events usually take place on the weekend in a rehearsal studio in central London. Please get in touch to find out if there’s one coming up.
